The other day I wrote a post about The Guild, an web show about a group of online gamers. After writing it, I realized I have never really made mention of Newsbleep on my blog.

Newsbleep.com- LogoNewsbleep is also an internet-based television show written and directed by Miles Rausch (a friend of mine that I went to college with and, until recently, I worked with for several years). The show is semi-random, sometimes a parody of news shows, sometimes short films unrelated to news, and sometimes… well, I just don’t know what it is.

To be honest, I’m not sure how often he releases a new episode, I think it’s about once a month. I tend to visit every few and just watch all of the episodes at once.

Overall, Miles and his friends (most of whom went to DSU also) do a pretty damn funny job (most of the time). If only they would release “webisodes” more often.

In any case, if you haven’t seen it before, check out: http://www.newsbleep.com

Thanks for the plug, Mike! I try to post three times a month, with two shorts and one full episode. Of course, with all the craziness of December, I wasn’t able to post as regularly as I’d wanted to, but that’s life. However, I think your description is probably the most accurate one so far.

No problem. Granted, there’s a solid chance that the whole 3 people who probably check this out ever already know about Newsbleep, but you never know… maybe it’ll encourage them to at least go take another look and see the new content. :)
