Today marks the first day of the Spring semester!
As of today, I am enrolled in the following MSIS courses:
- INFS 612 - Management and Evaluation of Information Systems
- INFS 724 - Project and Change Management
- INFS 766 - Advanced Database
Three masters level courses (full-time) should make for a fair amount of work, but I think it will be entirely manageable.
All I have left to do is get books (some would probably consider this a very important step). I was actually on campus earlier in the week hoping to pickup said books for the above courses, however the DSU Book Store was not ready. They had maybe 1/3 of the course books on the shelves. Two of the three courses I was looking for were not ready.
So, sooner rather than later, I will need to make an additional trip back on campus to pick up my remaining books. Once that’s done, I should be good to go!
Why not just get the books off Amazon or some other such textbook purveyor?
I probably could. Mostly, I’ve had bad luck in the past with ordering them and then have them get delayed and not showing up for 2 weeks. That tends to make me a little bitter.
I may have to for one of my courses anyway, as the Bookstore didn’t have the book in stock. How is that possible?
