Today was Miles and Holli’s wedding! Congratulations to the both of them!
Miles was a good friend, and former co-worker, of mine. We both went to Dakota State University, and started working in the CRESH program there. From there, CRESH grew (for awhile) and we, and several other DSU graduates, worked out of Sioux Falls.
While working with Miles I got to meet Holli quite a few times, as she stopped by the office occasionally. She’s a very nice young lady, and is a perfect fit for Mr. Miles. I am very happy for the both of them!
Their wedding was actually very nice. It was a Catholic wedding so I was expecting a 3 hour long wedding with 2 services and blood and crackers. However, it ended up being an appropriately timed out wedding, with an awesome reception.
I’ve never actually been to a wedding with a “seating arrangement” before, however, it worked out rather well. Basically, we got the “DSU Table.” So not only was it a fun wedding, but a fun reunion with some former classmates as well.
Most memorable of the night (aside from “Sonje”), was the way they opened their Wedding Dance. Miles and Holli had an awesome montage of songs that they choreographied (not even sure if that’s a word) a dance to. It was a montage of songs and little dances & skits for each one.
Miles and Holli should be wedding planners.
What a lovely post! We’re glad you and SonjA had a good time and were pleased with the guests you were seated with.
See you both soon, we hope!
If it wasn’t so much work and didn’t take nearly a year to plan, maybe we would. It was great to see you and Sonje and the rest of the CRESH-clan; we’re glad you enjoyed it!
