Just this month NASA announced the discovery of evidence of water on mars. According to the article, it means they have a lot more hope for finding life (microbial) on mars, and the discovery even makes the idea of a human mission to mars more feasible.

Summer Mid-point

This evening marks the end of the first of two Summer semesters. I finished my final exam this evening, which was actually not to bad. It was a shorter exam, consisting of six essay questions (that were far to easy). It is nice to know that I have one more course completed.

In honor of our good friend, Sang, turning the big 3-0, there will be a small celebration this evening in town. Knowing how partying with him goes, that means that it will probably start with massive amounts of drinking and end with even larger amounts of drinking.
