This evening the Rausch’s (Miles and Holli) had invited us over to their house for dinner and a movie (when I word it that way, it almost sounds like they are trying to court me, which is kind of hot). Anyway…

It was a lot of fun. It was nice to have a relaxing evening and sit down and enjoy a good supper. Since the move from the apartment to the house, it seems like it has been non-stop busy work. Between school, work, and unpacking… my time is pretty much completely filled. There is always something that needs to be done.

Not to mention, it was also just nice to get out with other people. Over the past year a majority of my friends have left the Sioux Falls area for new jobs, wives, etc., it was good to have someone in Sioux Falls to hang out with, even if they are on the complete opposite side of town.

Aside from a great meal, we also watched the new Futurama movie, Futurama: The Beast With a Billion Backs (2008). To be honest, the movie was… so-so. It had it’s moments, but I think the television episodes were generally better than the movie was. Maybe there’s something to be said about ’short and sweet’?

A big conversation in the night was blogging, and general internet nerdiness (twitter, movie reviews, just general stuff). But, after all of that conversation, I felt like I should run home and blog about it, now that I have a working blog again finally!

It was great to have you and SonJE ;)! Thanks for hanging out with us East-siders. And I’m glad it could give you guys a break from the normal busy-ness! We’ll have to do it again sometime.

I agree about the movie. I was a little disappointed. I really enjoyed the first movie, though. We maybe should have watched that one.

It was great having you guys over. There was so much desert left over that I brought it to work, and it went over very well. We’re enjoying the last of it right now.
