Summer Mid-point

This evening marks the end of the first of two Summer semesters. I finished my final exam this evening, which was actually not to bad. It was a shorter exam, consisting of six essay questions (that were far to easy). It is nice to know that I have one more course completed.

While I will admit, the summer courses are a great way to keep a fast pace on making progress towards a Master’s degree, I am not really the most fond of the fast-paced curriculum. 6 weeks just gets to be not quite enough time to pack in a full semesters worth of reading. Not even taking the difficulty of the courses into consideration, I don’t always feel like I can give my full attention to the required reading while working full-time and still trying to manage other day-to-day responsibilities. Not to mention trying to find time to have a little bit of fun in there too!

In any case, I am now half done with the Summer semesters. Now if I can just manage to get through the next 6 weeks, everything should hopefully calm down a bit more. Although from what I heard, I’m going to have a lot of busy work with writing papers in my next course.
