Last night we went and saw Hancock (2008). If you haven’t seen the previews, you have obviously been living under a rock and I’m surprised you know how to access the Internet to read this blog. That being said, I’m not sure there is a whole lot to say about the plot of the movie. I will admit though, that there was actually a twist to this movie that I didn’t see coming. Normally I’m pretty good about spotting them, but I wasn’t really expecting there to be one in this movie.
The movie, while not what I expected, was still good. I think I was expecting more of a full-on comedy, not as much of a tragic storyline. Either way, I still liked it. It had some very funny scenes, though most of them were easily viewed just by watching the previews.
I wasn’t a huge fan, and will explain why in a later post.
I liked this movie, but I think it was more of a “rent” for me. There were somethings I just didn’t care for that much, and I thought it had great potential, so maybe I had inflated expectations. Anyway, 6.5/10.
I would definitely agree about the inflated expectations. It wasn’t “awesome,” but it wasn’t “bad” either.
