No, nothing about the movie, sorry. This is just a simple Happy 4th of July.
For the past several years, yes years, my family has been inviting me to visit their lake cabin on the 4th of July, but something else has always come up. It has usually been just other activities that I had already made commitments with: friends, traveling, etc.
After saying no so many times, my family invited us over a year in advance so we wouldn’t have plans. So this year we are finally going to make it to the cabin. It will hopefully be a lot of fun to visit the family. I’m not sure how it couldn’t be, considering there will be alcohol, explosions, wit, and relaxation. All things I enjoy, all at the lake cabin. So here is to hopefully a very fun and relaxing weekend, and hopefully some great fireworks displays.
