Another Candle

Another year has gone by, but I’m starting to think I’ve past all the good milestones.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not feeling like an old fart just yet, but there were plenty of memorable years, including: becoming a legal adult, able to drink, the big insurance break (you know you’re getting old when you are excited about that), getting married, etc. that are all now long past.
It does not really seem like there are a lot of big milestone days left, except maybe turning 50? But really, is that a “good” milestone?
From here on out a birthday is just a birthday, which is pretty much how I have always looked at it, so there really isn’t much of a change. On the plus side, however, at least I get to add another candle on my cake!
