Dr\. HorribleI definitely have found a strange fascination by Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, as noted in my previous post. Most of the songs are just so catchy, I don’t see how you couldn’t find them amusing.

Sonja and I were discussing today that something like this would have made for a great musical/play in high school. The story and songs would be so much more entertaining than the typical “Helen Keller” play, that’s for sure!

In any case, here are a few links to the songs I liked most: “It’s A Brand New Day,” “Laundry Day,” “On the Rise” and “Slipping.” If you’re bored and haven’t checked out Dr. Horrible yet, I would recommend giving it a quick listen. Neil Patrick Harris rocks.

It is just to bad how it ended with Felicia Day‘s character. I really wanted to see more Dr. Horrible videos. In fact, I am even half tempted to purchase the DVD once it is available. Although, on a side-note, I did hear that she is going to be in an episode of House, M.D. for Season 5.

Though I haven’t yet seen it, I’d imagine it would be similar to Little Shop of Horror’s humor?

Actually, yes. I would say the humor is somewhere along those lines. Though the entire production is a lot shorter, I would estimate around 40 – 45 minutes in total from all three parts.

Joss Whedon will probably sell enough DVDs to line his next yacht in gold Buffy chocolate bar wrappers. But, no, I haven’t seen his Internet show, yet.

    Well you should.

I sooo want a sequel!!!However a play for a school could turn out very bad without the right effects and characters since they make it what it is.
