Saturday Outing

Today was a busy day. Sonja and I spent the better part of the morning weeding our backyard. The weeds are finally taking over and have consumed the entire yard. For awhile, it almost looked like we had a lawn, but it was all weeds.
In any case, on Monday we’ll be mowing the weeds, but in order to do that we need to thin out the weeds a bit by hand first, as it is the lawn mower would just choke and die with a couple of our 4 foot tall patches of weeds. Yikes.
Anyway, in the afternoon Seth and Sharla were in town. We were able to get together for supper with them at Puerto Vallarta. It is a newer Mexican restaurant in town. Although we had been there once before it was fun to go back to.
Later in the night we met up with Colin and his girlfriend Kris, as well as Kwon and a couple other people at Granite City for a couple drinks. It was fun to get out with a few other couple this weekend.
