Office Furniture

It has been a long time now since I’ve had a small home-office. It is one of those things I have been craving to have back ever since I moved in to an apartment 2 or 3 years ago. The amount of space you have when you can have a room dedicated as “the office” makes a huge difference.
Once we moved to the new home, we had way to many projects to take on, one of which was the office. To be honest, it was pretty low on the list, and we basically took one room at a time and finished them.
A few weeks ago we ordered office furniture to finally take on the office. After ordering a few pieces we realized if we reconfigured the room a bit, we could actually fit a couple desks, and several book shelves (which we very much needed).
With all the excitement of finally having an office, we haven’t had a lot of time to organize it yet though. We quickly filled up the shelves with books and DVD’s. We also got the computers setup, though I only did a quick-fix type job, and I will need to re-do the wiring to get it a little cleaned up. I’ll save that for another day though.
Those desk tops are pretty awesome. The rook and knight book ends are pretty swanky too. But that clock really belongs on a mantelpiece!
