Happy Easter! (2009)

In an effort to reenact old traditions, my family got together yesterday for Easter (yes, the day before, I know) and we did an actual Easter Egg Hunt. Amazingly, even as adults it was a fun social activity. It was good to see the family, and sit down for a nice meal, even though it was food I dislike.
Also, Seth was in town to visit his relatives, so we swung by and saw him. It was just a few hours after buying my new car, so they got to see my clean vehicle, wee.
Additionally, this evening Dan came through Sioux Falls on his way back from visiting family as well. We used this time as a great opportunity to go see Monsters vs. Aliens (2009). The movie was actually really good.
we do an office egg hunt. One very sadistic employee hard boils (yes, real eggs) about 50 or so, labels them by number and year, and hides them in your office. 1 per office, and the rest in common areas. Your incentive to find it is to avoid the egg smell. Took me about 3 hours to find my egg…
She can’t hide them in drawers, cabinets, or bags… and I have a cubicle. That tells you how good she is at this. Some eggs aren’t found either… for years.
