What seemed as only a fitting follow-up to yesterday’s wedding, a small group of us went and saw The Hangover (2009) after our return home (well, half of us at least).

Sonja and I thought the movie was hilarious, I think the rest of the group barely thought it was funny. So it’s probably hit-and-miss depending on your sense of humour. You can definitely tell it was directed by the same guy that did Old School (2003).

So basically if you liked Old School, I’d recommend checking this one out. Though I might recommend not being hung-over during it… ;)

It was a pretty good flick. I just don’t really laugh out loud at movies that much. So don’t ding it because I wasn’t in a belly laugh from it.

I did recommend it to a few co-workers today at the office, so that is something to say there.

I recommend a lot of movies. Oceans 11, Bourne Identity, Goldeneye, Beverly Hills Cop 2, The Great Outdoors, Dirty Work, True Lies, Casino Royale, UHF, Hot Shots… Most of those I could watch/listen to anytime…

The Great Outdoors is up there on one of my all-time favourite movies. However, I think I’d recommend Casino Royale before I’d recommend GoldenEye. :/

Those aren’t in any particular order of favoritism, just the order I found them in my entertainment center… Yes, I own all of those (or have them borrowed in the case of Casino Royale)

Salim Abu Aziz: Do you know what this is?
Harry: I know what this is…
    [Salim smiles]
Harry: This is an espresso machine.
    [Salim frowns]
Harry: No, no wait. It’s a snow cone maker.
    [Salim approaches Harry]
Harry: Is it a water heater?
