Last evening I attended two new releases, Wanted and WALL•E.

• Wanted: I was incredibly excited to see this movie, it had some amazing trailers.  It follows the character of Wesley (James McAvoy) as he transforms from a anxious and apathetic young man to an assassin.  Jame’s costars are Angelina Jolie (Fox) and Morgan Freeman (Sloane).  The acting and stunts in the film were on par and there is a particular fight scene at the end that had amazing cinematography.  However, I did not expect the storyline to unfold as it did.  I would give this movie 3.5 out of 5 stars.
• WALL•E: This is the new Disney/Pixar release.  WALL•E is a lonely robot that has spent hundreds of years on earth cleaning the remnants of it’s destruction so that it might become inhabitable again.  He was one of many but is the last remaining functional robot.  A robot named EVE is sent to determine if new plant life has surfaced and if earth can once again sustain life.  WALL•E develops a crush on EVE and this is truly where the story begins.  This was an adorable movie with wonderful graphics, and in the true Disney/Pixar fashion, it made me cry.  I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
