Election Day, 2008
As all of America knows, today is election day. I’m not big on politics. I don’t enjoying discussing politics nor do I enjoy watching political programs on television (with the exception of Colbert Report and The Daily Show, because they are humorous). However, no matter my distaste for politics I still believe it is important to vote. This evening I headed over to my old middle school to indicate my preferences and I left with a sense of patriotism. Now all I need is a hot dog and a baseball game and I’ll feel truly American. 
And apple pie!
